Green Fun (Wedding Video Jason & Charlene)

How about it? An Australian Wedding in Singapore. Fun loving couple Jason & Charlene, decided to have their church wedding in Singapore. Charlene really loves green! Green bow ties, green ribbons, green flowers. Love those shoes of hers. We really loved the post wedding party. Everyone, young and old (check out the elderly gentleman in the video) let their hair down and partied! All together a fun time for all and a fun video. Oh and did I say Charlene loves green?

Capturing Moments and Details (Wedding Video of Kevin and Hilda)

Kevin and Hilda wanted something a little bit different. Instead of the traditional express highlights. They wanted a non-express wedding video that included the dinner speeches from family and close friends. There was a multitude of expressions from the smiles of the march in to the tears of the thank you speeches. The Lighthouse Team managed to capture the many thing that were personalised such as their board game wedding invites, hand made bouquet and their vows. This made the wedding film a very personal witness to Kevin and Hilda’s Wedding. The couple definitely enjoyed this video for sure. How would I know? Well, I’m Kevin. :) Enjoy my wedding film guys!

Expressions, it’s all that matters

It’s just great to be there for such a sweet couple like Derek & Gloria. Interesting Fact: They knew each other since they were kids and got together while studying overseas. Their wedding was a celebration among family. Even the pastor was a family friend. This made their wedding film a more personal one. We loved as they expresed their love and commitment through their vows and used them as a backbone to our film.

Timothy and Megan’s Wedding Film

We took a different apporach to the wedding highlights of Timothy & Megan. Timothy and Megan desired a wedding highlights that had an church emphasis and we did just that. The music was more measured and we included more shots that had a emotive quality. Really honoured to be able to capture those precious moments such as the loving embrace of mother and son and the two love birds looking at each other.

Gate Crash + Church Martrimony + 1st March in a express film? (Wedding Film of Shi Long & Seraphina)

Shi Long & Seraphina wanted a full throttle wedding film and we obliged. Being a pilot in the RSAF, I guess Shi Long and full throttle are synonymous. The church matrimony just before the dinner banquet was important for them and they wanted the matrimony to be in the express highlights video. We decided to go one step further by including their first march in into the wedding film! You should see the Shi Long’s rection when he saw the wedding film, his jaw dropped, in a good way. Here is a summary of the entire wedding :)

Joy + Grandeur + Intimacy: Wedding Film of Samson and Priscilla

Samson and Priscilla are fun to be with as they are such a jovial couple. Always having friendly banter with each other. You could tell of the great chemistry between them. Their church (Orchard Road Presbyterian Church) is indeed a beautiful church. The grandeur of the church was matched with the intimacy of their vows and it was a beautiful contrast placing these different  elements together in the wedding film.

Shawn & Joanne’s Wedding Film

We wanted to personalize the wedding video for Shawn & Joanne. That meant capturing significant ¬†details of their wedding ceremony. Joanne’s dad is such a consummate owner of singing birds and we wanted to show some of those aspects in the wedding film . Of course what solemnization can do without one of Singapore’s most famous Justice of Peace, Dr Phua Tan Tee. His words were not merely entertaining but filled with wisdom for a lasting relationship together. Their vows were a promise of commitment, friendship and love but it wasn’t just the words. Even more so, you knew Shawn and Joanne meant every word that they said.

Solemnisation with a Twist

We wanted to tell a story to reveal the fun and sweet nature of Hanbin and Pamela’s relationship. So off we went to Fort Canning to film them just before their ROM. After an arduous climb to the top with our equipment (note to self: exercise more), we got into a rhythm of capturing the shots for their ROM video. Han Bin and Pamela really made their ROM theirs by customising different aspects of the ROM such as the food and deco. The festivities, colours and this lovely couple really made filming this ROM fun!

Excuse me, are you a Cinematographer?

Most of our couples have always asked us what is our filming style. Are we more cinematic or are we more journalistic? Romantic or comedic?

None actually. We refuse to be boxed in to a particular style. After all, you are an entirely unique individual. You have experienced special moments in which no one around you has. You see things in different ways and feel them in different intensities. Why would we want to impose a template or a particular filming style on you?

Hongcheng (HC) and Chia Syen are a beautiful couple. I think you could place them in a Taiwanese Drama and they would never look out of place. They and their friends had put much effort to the gatecrash games (The bridesmaids wanted to punish their groomsmen husbands.) and we wanted to capture the atmosphere of the day. We also added some Taiwanese flavour to Hongcheng (HC) and Chia Syen highlights video.

It was a riot from beginning to end. We sure enjoyed filming them. Love you guys, HC and Chia Syen.
